Best Bank

I'm with National City right now, but recently my account was overdrawn and I got a letter days after the fact... after fees had been piling up quite a bit. Then in the whole getting it sorted out they weren't the most helpful. I am thinking of switching to NetBank, and never actually walk into a bank (mail in checks to deposit, email and online bank), or Chase bank because they're close to where I live. However I do have three books of checks on this account, so I don't want to rush on to another "evil" bank. Where have you all liked? Is there anywhere that will guarantee you a phone call before you lose any money?

I have no plans to ever allow this to happen again (forgot to write down one check and overdrew it by abouy $5 ), but would like somewhere that would call me instead of sending a snail mail letter saying "we've been charging you $10 a day because your in the negative." So, to make more money, we've decided to choose the slowest method of letting you know this, even though we know your phone number and email address, and everything else about you in case we need to come after you. :fork_off:

I have accounts at a couple local banks Milford and Sikorsky credit union. Thinking about trying out ING, and maybe a more national chain.

They are all pretty good, Milford gives the best service and caters to local business the most.

It sucks but you agreed to the terms when you signed up.

TDI BANKNORTH......free ATM usage anywhere. It's kind of cool just going into any random ATM machine to withdraw money, the bank refunds you all the fees at the end of the month. Just last month I saved over 35 bucks on the fees alone. There are no other hidden charges either, I know that for a fact because I worked for them.
