Need to be added to that list...

Terracotta Warriors and Horses - Xi'an, China
Viaduct de Millau - Tarn Gorge, France

The Great Wall is pretty impressive but, not "new wonder" material IMHO. I did however, get the best deal on Rolexes at the Badaling section of the wall...

Kremlin, Alhambra, Colloseum, Statue of Liberty and Neuschwanstein are pretty hilarious to be considered a 'Wonder of the World'... Seems it was more important to leave no major country out in the list. 'Oldies' like the Great Wall and the Pyramids are valid. I'm missing Venice.

Can someone please explain to me what was wrong with the "old" 7 Wonders? First they get rid of Pluto...now this? My own 7 Wonders:

1. Mr. Goodbar choclate bars
2. Cohiba Cigars
3. McAllen's(sp) scotch
4. My 420 SEL
5. Getting up in the morning and everything is going in the right direction

The "Great Fence" of the southwestern United States. Oh, wait, that hasn't been built yet.

Uh, waking up in the morning. Five o'clock on Friday afternoon. Macanudos are pretty swell, too. Ditto on the single malt MacCallans, Mistress.

I'd say the Kremlin and the Alhambra are legit. The Statue of Liberty may not be a true wonder of creation, but it has had a significant impact on a lot of people so I don't think its consideration is out of line.

In general I'm partial to the older wonders like Angkor Wat, the Japanese Temple, and the Hagia Sophia.

The Great Pyramids are of course the only ancient wonder still around, unless the statue of Zeus turns up one day. I don't think anyone knows what happened to it.
