Electrolysis to separate O2 and H2 and then burn it in the engine? Yes it works but it's such a small volume that is created by gasoline and 240 watts of electrical consumption that you're supposed to be saving.
$1,100 for 50 liters per hour! Doesn't the engine consume that volume of air by the time the engine ticks over with 10 cranks? |

Snake oils do quite well everytime fuel gets pricey. For a number of reasons, some people are stupid, others just don't know any better, and others still want to beleive and support it with junk science.
If an OE doesn't use it somewhere its snake oil, they have a vested interest in improving MPG's. High mpg, sells cars.
