I have a strange question but I have to ask

Ok guys,
I am selling two vehicles and have a strange question. The windows are tinted on both cars so does the "For Sale" sign go on the outside of the rear window or on the outside? My gut says to place on the outside so it will stand out, but my common sense says it will STAND OUT to much. Plus if it rains yada yada will the tape hold.
Also, if anyone is interested the vehicles are:
99 Cadillac Escalade, Black, Flat black Front and tail light metal brush guards, and under 59,000 miles
93 300zx non-turbo, white, gray cloth interior, 104,000 miles.
