Thank God half the country are complete idiots, and the side that you align with are giants of intellect and integrity.

Funny that after the major league sleeze fest the Reops ushered in with DeLay as standard bearer, and other assorted and sundry excesses born of hubris, we're still hearing about the bogeyman demos, in over the top consescending terms.

Point well taken....

I would vastly prefer the above as opposed to torture,curtailment of Civil Liberties,Cronyism,lying and open corruption and the useless slaughter of our youthful future in the name of oil,Halliburton and Bechtel,but that's just me,an oddball..................so who cares a rap what I think?

Same voters. If you look at the percentages the "true-believers" of both parties stayed true it was the middle that shifted. The middle will shift again in 2008. the key to happiness for true believers of both parties will be the direction of that shift. If it goes back to Repoland then Repos will be happy. If it goes farther into a leftword lurch then the Demos will be happy.

In reality this shift will not affect much of anything because the margins are so slim that Bush will veto anything extraordinary.
