Balestacking Invitation

Hi all!

So that we can have ample refresments and food, I’m trying to get a nose count for folks that will be able to make our balestacking in Milano, TX this weekend. Please let me know if you can make it to our shindig and, if you will be staying over on Sunday so we can have breakfast for you too.

Thanks!

Balestacking invitation.

If only you weren't 1500 miles away I'd be happy to participate.

I'm trying to finish our own new home, so time and $$$ are a factor here besides distance.

Again, wish I could help out.

LOL. Other than Nellybell, Sybill, Marlene and the Turd parts car, there's only one likely starcar to appear; "Beceknbauer" from this forum. TXBill is coming by but he drives a TDI these days.

Last week we installed insulation and hung sheetrock:

Saturday morning, before the masses arrived:

The view from within...

Bales comin' in...

Scout and Ben install the pseudo top plate:

My old friend James came with his hangover...

Dad kept the tools in working order.

...and, helped our neighbor Vivian make the small custom bales we needed:

Lance pounded the stakes in that knit the bales together.

My sis made lunch for everyone...yummy!

Whiskey the farm dog provided the music!

The second load of bales came up the hill just after lunch.

Sparky was his usual self...

It is really taking shape now.

Women with power tools...

Kevin was inspired.
