Funny Story - My trip to Lenny's...I mean Denny's

So my friend and I pulled a late night stop a Denny's this past Saturday. On our way in the front door, a girl followed us in. There were about 4 people total in the place, and we asked for the smoking section. The girl behind us quickly butted in; "I don't think you want to do that..." I though, okay...why not? The hostess said, "see for yourself." We took a glance and saw some guy sitting alone, all pale and looking in pretty bad shape. Upon further glance, there was stains all over the wall and stuff. I thought, what the hell happened here. Apparently, a wedding party came through just before us, and all placed orders. Obviously, they had a good time at the wedding: One person got sick at the table, which started a chain reaction. 9 people PUKED ALL over the place. On the walls, on the table, on the floor. The girl that walked in behind us was evidently taking people home, makeing several trips to fit everyone n her car. We left, but it was one of the funniest things that has hapened to me all year. I know it's pretty gross, but the comedy was great!

I was once eating at a Silver Diner (local chain in the Washington, DC area) when a couple of guys came in who had obviously been drinking . . A LOT. They ordered food and more beer. I wasn't really paying much attention to them after they sat down.

After a few minutes their food came. I was just about through and waiting for the check, when one of them blew chow all over the table, wall, and floo, as well as on his friend. The friend then responded by puking all over everything, too. It was a real barf-fest!

I have a cast iron constitution and it didn't really affect me, but the manager came over apologizing profusely and gave me a voucher for a free meal for four. I keep hoping for a repeat performance.

To me, there's just something comical about the chain reaction effect that puking causes. Nuttin like a roomful of people blowing chunks all over the place!

3 of us were doing shots of 151 followed by a beer chaser years back at a local club.

One of the guys was talking to this girl at the bar, kissing her now and again, when he leans down(she turned away) and barfed on the floor between his legs.

He calmy took a big sip of beer and coninued to chat the girl up immedietly afterwards.

She didn't suspect a thing.

He sounds cool as a cucumber and she sounds like she must have been blotto not to have noticed something like that.

I am compelled to add a Denny's story that my family witnessed while living in La Grande, OR in the mid nineties during the bad forest fire months. Three firefighters show up at the hostess station at Denny's. Getting quite a few looks from other patrons they obviously came into town for a hot meal after being out in the woods for many hours fighting fires. They were ash covered, dirty, and had small smudges of soot on their face and arms. The bubbly waitress asks. Smoking or Not Smoking. The entire restaurant broke into laughter.

I have videotape of a drunk dude at a bar at the Sturgis bike rally. The dude holding the video camera keeps asking him what he's going to have for breakfast, if it's going to be runny eggs or greasy bacon. The drunk dude lost it all over the place. The waitress laughed and poured him another beer.

I was at a mom and pop seafood place years ago, when the bubbly waitress asked me what I was going to have. I told her I would like the crab cakes, she responeded with a very sarcastic "crabs huh?". I told her that I hope I didn't have crabs for her sake. She took the menu and whacked me on the head with it, at first I thought I had offended her, but she piled so much food on the plate that I couldn't finish it.

when i was a freshman at ball state, once i had quarter break and came over to west lafayette to visit an old high school bud who was at purdue. he had class but i was on break. somehow he left for a while and came back with lots of beer. he had a bunch of millers. i was drinking colt 45 because it was a cheap drunk. so we were in his dorm room drinking, talking, laughing and eating a big bowl of greasy popcorn. now the room was incredible, an l shaped thing which was just 6' wide in the center with bunk beds and a walk way. so he says suddenly, i feel kindof tired and climbs up into his (top) bunk. i was obliviuos. kept drinkning talking and eating the popcorn. so he lays down for a while.....suddenly he sits right up and barfs sideways.... it went over and bounced off the wall (i am laughing out loud writing this) and it just covered the floor. so then he lays down and falls asleep. so i am trapped by the barf.....so naturally i climb out the window and go down the hall to another buddy's room and sacked out there.

next morning he had to call housekeeping to clean it up. to avoid being expelled he told them it was me that puked and i spent the rest of the weekend kindof in hiding.

barf makes good storys but the smell really does make you want to barf too!

Years ago, I had a second job in a restaurant. I was working there one morning with a huge beer hangover .

Well, I went to the kitchen to load up a tray with drinks for a table of 6. I was half way back to the table when I realized I'd never make it. I HAD to puke.

I put the tray down and ran as fast as I could to the bathroom. Entering it, I realized I had been lucky enough to find it empty. I literally ran through it to the one and only stall in the rear. As I opened the door to the stall, I couldn't hold it any longer. The vomit spewed out of my mouth in an upwards motion, hit the opposite wall and bounced back, soaking the only roll of toilet paper before landing all over the toilet and floor. I actually rememeber beginning to laugh, knowing this would make a great story someday (which it has!).

I finished the pukefest and got the hell outo of the restroom, knowing that if I were caught, I'd be the poor sap cleaning up all the mess.

I didn't even take time to rinse out my mouth. I returned and got the tray of drinks and, ghastly white and sweating from vomiting, I returned to the table and served the drinks.

Oh the days...........
