It says they are supporting CARE but I think CARE raises their own money. It is a shame that there are businesses out there eating up the majority of the donations with their collecting efforts. I read where some organization collecting for some state troopers fund was keeping over 2/3's of the proceeds. Something is wrong there.

I agree with the idea of the site. $30 can purchase a first aid kit to a village in Africa but my concern is will my $30 go to that village or not. I would rather purchase a kit and send it myself. The site makes good points but I can see how it is sometimes hard to send money when you do not know the final result.
