The Marines actually got their own memorial?

First time I've heard of it.

You're not referring to this one are you?

If so, I don't believe its new, but it's very moving.

Last year I also saw the Korean War memorial, and apart from the Lincoln Memorial, it was the most moving of all the memorials in my opinion. It was very haunting.

Nope,,, this one is in Quantico Virginia and just opened last weekend. They have exhibits that duplicate the weather of Korea during the winter and some tropical climate I think. The whole thing is supposed to be VERY impressive. The review I read was in the WSJ.
