BURLINGTON, Vt. - A woman who claims she was kicked off an airplane because she was breast-feeding her baby has filed a complaint against two airlines, her attorney said.

Emily Gillette, 27, of Santa Fe, N.M., filed the complaint with the Vermont Human Rights Commission late last week against Delta Air Lines and Freedom Airlines, said her attorney, Elizabeth Boepple. Freedom was operating the Delta flight between Burlington and New York City.

I am proud of my wife, she breast fed both of my children and would not hesitate to sit on a bench in the mall to feed the kids. She wasn't crazy about it whipping her boob out but would cover with a blanket and discretely feed.

I enjoyed observing peoples responses and they were wither nothing, sneering or smiling, men never paid any attention.

Younger women usually smiled, I think it is because so much importance is put on breast feeding today while it was shunned in the 60's and 70's. A couple years ago one older women sneered and made the "go somewhere else" remark. I replied "shut the f--- up you dried up bag" .

For those that know me I always drop that atomic bomb when people piss me off.

“A breast-feeding mother is perfectly acceptable on an aircraft, providing she is feeding the child in a discreet way,” that doesn’t bother others, said Paul Skellon, spokesman for Phoenix-based Freedom. “She was asked to use a blanket just to provide a little more discretion, she was given a blanket, and she refused to use it, and that’s all I know.”
I hope she get a bigfat settlement I don't really like the conditional rule they have for breast feeding.

I dunno. If that is true then she deserves to be kicked off the plane.

Why? She has the right to refuse the blanket right?
