I wonder if he tried to sue the liquor store for being hurt? I'm sure he had at least a few bruises and a bump or two on his head.

Not to mention a bottle of Thunderbird wedged in a really unpleasant place.

That was indeed funny as hell but by far the best story concerns the attempted robbery of a pharmacy several miles from my rentals,Tengelsen's I believe, which occurred 35 odd years ago in September.

These 1 story cinderblock buildings shared a common HVAC system which had a 15 inch diameter round chimney hole.

The pharmacy owner noted his doors and windows had been tampered with but not successfully opened.

He ascribed it to an attempted robbery by some local kids and thought no more of it.

Fast forward to November, oil burner fired up but the draft was screwy and the burner "puffed back".
The oil burner tech removed the exhaust pipes and shined a light inside the chimney hole expecting to find a nest of raccoons, ran upstairs white as a sheet screaming "HELP!!HELP!!".

Turns out he discovered the badly decomposed corpse of what was determined to be a 15 year old boy,was it robbery or suicide?

Either way, his prescription was filled.

There are about a million people in jails in the United States. The only difference between them and this guys is . . . no wait, I can't think of a difference.

A couple of years back, some guy tried to break into an unoccupied vacation house in Tahoe, got stuck and was lucky enough to manage to alert someone to his plight. They had to break out considerable brickwork to free the guy.

Imagine, your chimney trashed cause of some dipwad. Would have smelled worse if they'd just left him though.

I understand he hired the law firm of "Dewey, Chetum and Howe."
