A Warm thing to do . . .
My apologies - This isn't MB related, but I thought it important enough to pass along -
http://www.letssaythanks.com/Home1024.html Something cool that Xerox is doing - If you go to this web site, you can pick out a thank you card and Xerox will print it and it will be sent to a service member that is currently serving our country. You can't pick out who gets it, but it will go to some member of the armed services. Think of how GREAT and AMAZING it would be if we could get everyone we know to send one!!! Please send a card. It is FREE and it only takes a second. Wouldn't it be wonderful if the soldiers received a bunch of these? Whether you are for or against the war, our guys and gals over there need to know we are behind them. __________________

Thanx for the link...
I sent a card......and appreciate the link being here in the Diesel forum.
As an Army Vet, I would like to thank all of you who do send cards. During the Vietnam debacle, it felt really good to get stuff fron folks who supported us. Thanx again, SB

Sorry TheDon, This message belongs in every board here and everywhere else. Not only did I send a card but I also sent a Thank You note to Zerox.
Yes, you are right, it belongs in OD and also in Tech, Diesel, For Sale, etc and I would like for you to duplicate it in every board, not move it. Being a vet, sometimes I take things a little wrong and for that I apolize (sp). Please help promote this issue. Thanks from all the vets of Foreign Wars. I guess one had to have spent some time in Vietnam or Iraq or any one of the other wars we have been put through.

A warm thing
Whereas we soldiers are always appreciative of being thought of when we are off fighting for the freedom of others, we would like for the folks back home do more by rallying and writing their congressmans and others in defense of bringing an end to this ordeal. Back during the Viet Nam era, this was done by the masses. As a result, the Viet Nam was was brought to an end much faster than it would have been without the support of the folks back home.
