Speaking of movies, try Charlie Chaplin's "The Great Dictator".

Thank God, I was getting nervous having not heard Chamberlain referenced in several days.

No but hey, all seriousness aside, Achmadeanahjahd did pretty poorly in the recent elections in Iran.

Who woulda thought that the democratic process could work in Iran?

Madman? Hardly. He manipulated Chamberlain and many others pretty well.

I see Chamberlain a bit like us pre 9/11. Who knew one: that Hitler would be so whacked and, two: that creeps would hijack planes and fly them into buildings?

Hindset is 20/20. Hey, that's catchy.

i am pretty sure he is referring to joe kennedy on the far right with the striped pants. ambassator to england recalled when he was a little too friendly with the germans to suit our friends the english in the period leading up to ww2.

many americans agreed with him at that time, including charles limburgh. their position became moot eventaully when it became apparent we had to side with the british.

i find buckwheats allegation that kennedy was some kind of super liberal kindof laughable. he was a dem but probably pretty centrist. he helped roosevelt get elected by helping raise money and such and was hoping for sectretary of state i believe but had to be satisfied with ambassador to GB.

a liberal, i doubt. certainly not more liberal than elenore.

Joe Kennedy threw his political carrer away by getting to close to the Nazi's.

Hitler played many European leaders for fools, he was rather good at it. Only a couple saw through his act, luckily enough did.

Thank GOD, England had Winston S. Churchill.
Better Stated, Thank GOD, the WORLD'S DEMOCRACIES, that includes us, had Winston Spencer Churchill, as Prime Minister of The United Kingdom!

Thanks, I didn't know what Joe Kennedy looked like. I knew he was known as a pretty big sleezbag. I guess I see where Teddy gets the genes.

my favorite kennedy was bobby.

with 11 kids i never believed that he was the sexual gadfly like his brother and father.

he was a liberal in the groups he sympathized with but today he would be a very conservative democrat. he believed in tax incentives rather than mandates to modify behavior.

actually he was and is my favorite of all politicians that have been around since i have been aware of such things.

probably my favorite american would be harry truman.

but teddy roosevelt and lincoln would run neck and neck with anybody.
