Wife gets a broken collarbone for X'mas

She broke it skiing today. Dang! That sucks! Plus she broke a kickass carbon pole! Good thing my doctor was out there too so he saw her, put her arm in a sling and told her to come in to the office Wednesday for some Xrays. It'll knit itself back together he says. Six weeks.

Kuan- glad the Mrs. will be on the mend. Would you like us to take up a collection for the carbon pole or would you like me to just keep scoping out the second hand stores? Mistress.

Sorry about the injury to your wife ( and the new pole).

If it is any consolation, the recipe you helped me with on the rib eye roast turned out great.

Sorry to hear about your wife. I hope she at least had a good time before the accident.
After some pretty hairy falls I've never been injured. I'm goint to Lake Tahoe to skii in about 5 weeks. I hope my luck still holds out

If the break wasn't too bad and if the wife is very careful for the full 6 weeks, there won't be any lump from the re-fusing of the bone.

Guess that means you'll have to dote on Heidi for a while and limit your time here .

Tell her to take it easy.
