I 80 Ca. area

Hi just-n-time here, do we have many members that live in the I80 area in Ca.
I am curious about the storm in the Auburn,Ca. area.
Member garymand lives out there, and we had a test comparison going, But he dropped off though maybe power line might be down,or storm damage of some sort.

I am in that corridor. I live in Citrus Heights, about 30 mins down the road. I will call a friend in Auburn tomorrow to see how the weather is.

Also, Jim B. should chime in, as he lives closer than I do.

Doesn't I-80 go from San Francisco to New York City? That's a big corridor :D

I'm near 80 but Auburn's more in the hills. Haven't heard of any hellacious storms lately. It's been cold but calm, AFAIK.

What are you talking? I just went through there several hours ago (midnight)
and saw and heard nothing!!! I am in the next town, Grass Valley, about 20 -25 minutes away and I know nothing about this, of course I was gone all day yesterday for the Mercedesshop gtg in Marin County (incredible turnout, 25 cars or so, must have been SOME kind of record for an internet MB gathering)...PERFECT weather down there, but that is Marin, typical.....

Wow! I haven't heard that since Viet Nam. Thanks. We used to add, "Over" for emphasis and usually didn't care who heard the xmission on military channels so we just said it: What The F..., Over? In response to some dumb request or instruction. At the time, it was pretty common to hear the code words bantered accross the air waves. It was kind of a term of endearment with no ill will intended.

I have to appologize, JNT and I were going back and forth diligently learning how to fix our 126 fuel problems and I dropped out with work and home things that build up. The weather have been colder than usual but no rain in a month. Bad for th ski slopes.

My 560 got smogged OK and idles nice and low now so my priorities changed a little. I think the EHA could use refinement, but for now the system is self balancing.

Its good to know there are so many Benz wrenchers between Auburn and SF. I'll make a note. Its also a good area for good used Benz, more so in the Bay area.

Thanks for the concern JNT, I'm fine just getting back on less often.

Gary
