Here's footage of BBC Top Gear's Hamster crashing his jet car:

Amazing he survived...

That was long painful rollover crash! I suspect his flameproof suit and racing seat were soaked!

Caught the crash on the first episode of the new series on sunday. Wow, what a lucky guy...

Vronsky - do you get 'live' BBC? Episode featured the boys trying to complete roadworks in under 24hrs, that would normally take a week. The usual fun stuff and playacting ensued...

We have the BBC here, but for some reason I only see the Top Gear episodes on Dutch TV, and these usually lag 6 months or so behind. Show's absolutely first class

I lived in Aachen for a couple of years, very close to the dutch border. IIRC we got BBC world (this was 93-95), so i guess with all the satellite & digital tv nowadays it should be floating around somewhere.
They also tested the new Jag XKR, and had Jamie Oliver (tv chef) in the 'Star in a reasonably priced Car' slot - he did v well on a soaking wet track.
I know the 'jollies' the boys go on are far removed from insightful motor critiques, but thats half the fun of tuning into the show

Oliver has been in Top Gear before. I believe the live show is scheduled on Sunday evenings, and re-run on BBC World on Mondays. Many of TG's 'tests' are on You Tube aswell.
