Exercise Bikes
I'm trying to decide between the Schwinn exercise - spin bike (Elite) and the Vision fitness bikes (ES600). From what I can see the major difference is that the Vision bikes are belt drive and the Schwinn bikes are chain drive. Anybody with experience with these two bikes?

I have an old Schwinn Airdyne and love it. Have put over 13,000 miles on it so far without as much as a tuneup. Gives a great workout and the results show in my physicals. Sorry about not knowing of the models you stated, but you won't go wrong with a used Airdyne IMHO.

You should get a real bike and a trainer. Hook up the bike to the trainer when you can't get out.
