Here's how you could make your own YooHoo-style drink... Fill a glass with tap water and stir in two or three teaspoons of HERSHEYS Cocoa (The dry, powdery stuff). I don't remember the stuff having a sweet taste, so add sugar if you want. That should save you a few dollars on the packaging, at least! :P :D (I'm sorry Dee8go, that stuff just tasted awful.) ;) |

...and salt and pepper on a cantilope is very nice. Tom W |
Is there anything salt isn't good on?
Well, maybe not on pancakes and syrup. |
Ok, born in Columbia, South Carolina. Raised in Massachusetts and Long Island. Went to NC State in Raleigh NC.
My 2 Cents about everything discussed here. Peanuts in a coke bottle and drink/chew them together. In college I used to work at a small airport. Knightdale airport just east of Raleigh. Good ol boys used to sit on the split rail fence and do this each weekend while watching the aircraft fly. It really does taste great and a true southern thing to do. Green beans boiled for 2 hours. Are you nuts!!! You put them in salt water and a good piece of salt pork and simmer them for 6-8 hours. They really taste great. Salt on watermelon. Just plain good. It really brings out the flavor. I used to love Charleston Chews. It's a vanilla nougat surrounded with chocolate. You place them in the freezer. Crack them when frozen and chew them. A lot like a Sugar Daddy in hardness. Boiled Peanuts. In Charleston My wife ( a born and raised New Yorker) and I were at a oyster shucking and it was raining slightly. She had some boiled peanuts and mentioned how they were really soggy. I had to explain to her that they were boiled. My father-inlaw hated them. But in New York and Mass. They had some great food. All the Kosher Jewish and German food. The Irish food in Mass. Italian in both places. Ahh yes. Well back to the boiled peanuts, Ol RC cola, the Moon Pies and barking at the "fricken" moon. Dave |
