Talking about American Motors, I read in the paper the other day that Mitt Romney's father was not only the Governor of Michigan, but was the President of American Motors.

Do they plan on selling everything, or just Dodge/Chrysler and keep Jeep?

(would you believe, I didn't know that Plymouth isn't around anymore?) Guess you could say, I'm not a Chrysler enthusiast....maybe it has something to do with that POS they sold as a car back in '88 - yeah, I can hold a grudge.

There are moments where I really don't care what they do with Chrysler - I wasn't too thrilled with Benz buying them in the first place. Now, if Benz wants to sell Chrysler, let them....if Benz goes under because of it, it will be their own dumbass fault.

The Sprinter van has been the best thing ever for Dodge. It'll be interesting to see what happens to that.

Technically Mercedes isn't selling anything. There parent company Diamler AG is, and its respective owners/share holders. Mercedes cars is but one division in said company.

I thought Chrysler had a cozy relationship with Mitsubishi, sharing engines and other technologies.

I thought is only included GM helping with a large SUV?

Since the war for oil is not going great, Americans will continue to buy larger gas guzzlers and Chystler wants in... what a contridiction, but Americans are crazy about exhaust fumes!

But for real, I would like to see a Ls7 in a 300c, that would be sweet!

They already do, Here's my 2000 Dodge Ramcharger... They're still making them currently.

I don't care what either G.M, or Chrysler/Dodge does. They're all junk anyways. Especially their trucks. Who could drive anything so friggin ugly as a G.M or Dodge truck ? The only company making a decent looking truck is Ford. I hope G.M. and Chrysler/Dodge, both go completely out of business all together. That would be sweet. The vette, and Viper, are both complete jokes also. What junk they are, and so ugly, and cheaply built. I mean, I know Ford has it's own mistakes, like the Feces, oops, I mean Focus, and a few others, but atleast the whole line-up isn't worthless, ugly junks. I hope Daimler drops them really soon. I know MBZ will be ok without them,.

I've got both a 79 Dodge RamCharger, and a 2000 Dodge Ramcharger. They're both ok, but the old one will kick the new ones a$$ right off the trail any day of the week. I do however dislike the newer Dodge, and G.M trucks. The body on my 2000 is the last of the decent looking Dodge bodies, but mechanically it's junk. I've got the 360 in it, which is pretty good, but it's been through like four trannies, two front ends, and two rear ends. This was before I ever took the p.o.s. off road. It's only got 67k on it, too.

It looks cool, but it's a p.o.s.
