Recieved this today...along with two letters from Nigeria begging for help with millions of dollars.....plus another about updating my account details ...well...read on if you will, first, this one..........

Have you wondered why a Chinese corporation would pick you, out of the blue, to be their local rep?

I would recommend to you, or to anyone else getitng these kinds of e-mails, to RUN, RUN, RUN away and NOT to click on any of the links.

As to why you are getting these, it may be your browsing habits that are making you a target to these scams.

I would make sure that you have a solid firewall and anti-phishing software.

You may be at risk.

Instant delete action. Don't bother going any further. If you get too many of these you've posted your email address in one too many public places

I can't believe that the Altona treasurer got caught on the scheme. I mean, these guys are supposed to know better.

Yeah, I think that the poster should be concerned that he is getting hit with so many of these scam offers. something is wrong here.

My email address is on a few sites/forums, however, I run Thunderbird and no Java script along with ANTIVI GUARD....a free programme that has not let me down yet.

I'm not naive, just too much time on my hands tonight

Have a good friend who runs my IT for me, keeping me free from pop-ups and scams...especially those type.

I thought I'd post these links to advertise the scams that are netting some people a lot of money....I thought MR Obo and the carved bust 'scambait' was very funny at ....

What kills me is that people who can readily put their hands on up to $100 or $200 K fall prey to it. You'd think someone who had put that much away would have developed some sense in the process.
