WAY off topic--Spin Art

I am doing some advance work for my company's summer picnic. We want to have some "spin art" for the kids. Can anyone tell me about these machines---I'd like to build my own.
I need to know the speed range (rpm) that these machines use.
Anyone know anything about these?

Thanks

You don't need a fancy machine. Just a get some of the adults liquored up and have them run in front of the kids with pieces of poster board and the kids can paint them as they run by....

upside down drill with a high speed setting..

Bolt put into the chuck and the piece mounted to the spinning platter...

if all else fails.. tape the paper to your car wheel, jack the rear up , and floor it

Just my luck, the car would slip off the jack and crash thru a crowd of dozens of children, killing and maiming them. Of course someone would be there with a video camera to capture it all.
Its probably already on UTube

Kids don't need spin art- just put out finger paints, poster boards and give them a project to do like "paint your family at a picnic" and see what you come up with...Or paint the family car, on paper...

I've seen references to making spin art in a salad spinner; the housing and drive mechanism are already done for you. They were using paper plates, but I imagine you could rig up something that would let you pin or clip down the card stock or paper of your choice.

Even if you were to build your own cabinet-based unit (with a viewport, naturally!), you could make it more interactive by doing without a motor. Bevel gears... crank handle... roller clutch... now you're talking!
