I'm not automatically against a flame paint job on the right car. But that looks like a terrible flame job. Looks like someone with a few cans of Krylon and no taste.

Anyhow, I'm not bidding. No rear seat.

i see things like this up at the big auburn auction in the fall every year.

although they look like the answer to the question nobody asked, to me, i suppose that for someone they may be just the ticket.

He's got a bidder at $13000 - I'd bet its a shill.

Anyone dare to guess why there are no engine pictures or description of it beyond "4 CYLINDER 1.6 LITER"?

Rice Boi.. thats why.

That sheissewagen is sporting a factory engine with a 3" exhaust, folgers coffee can exhaust muffler, chrome valve cover strip and a cone intake filter with carbon fiber stickers..

and I think I have seen that car around my area once

All that money and they couldn't spring for some disk brakes to fill those "Motegi racing wheels"? That is an offensive vehicle.

Everything that you need to know about the engine is visible in the shot from the rear.

I'm not hatin'...

...a decent execution of a "ricer" show car...would do well in such a competition.

Beyond that, not much real-world use for such a vehicle...either turn it into a drag-strip contender or a cruise strip thumper...not both!

Curious though...one pic shows the "hop switches" attached to a cable going nowhere...but never reveals any hydraulic pumps or battery racks needed to feed such a system...hmmmmm.

And the $13K first bid offer? Yeah right!

BTW, if the car does sell, I hope the owner invests some of the money in a "Hooked on Phonics" course! His/her atrocious spelling makes the individual look ignorant in my book!

It's got an air suspension.

???

An air suspension system isn't fast nor compliant enough to respond to the type of movements that would make "hop switches" useful. Even if it was, it would take one hell of a compressor to be able to spool up enough air pressure to allow the type of "hopping" that hydraulically-activated setups provide. Not to mention the on-demand high amperage requirements for the compressor to perform the task (again, batteries).

The first thing I see when I look at that car is "hey cops, look at me, I'm 18 and up to no good!" Modified Asian cars are just cop magnets. Thank God I'm 40 and look clean cut, so I have become invisible to the boys in blue.
