Resizing images

I recently reformated here and have obviously lost whatever I used to use to resize images.
I'm just an analog refugee lost in this digital age of spew.
What the hell can I do to easily resize ?

If you want to upload the photos on a photobucket acct you can resize them there for free
or
if you want to keep your pics local ( on your HD ) then believe it or not I use the free software that came with my HP camera or even my Kodak camera and there you can do all sorts of stuff including resizing..the HP software is the best...I believe you can go to HP.com and download the software for a 1200PSC for free..
