You can't trust that riff-raff from Benzwhirl.

I believe bad things happen to those that do bad things. I hope that motherf**ker has a blowout on those tires and dies in a fiery death.

I hope you find the jerk and deal with him. That would irk me so much, I totaly understand. Its not the money, its the idea that they came onto your property and stole your stuff.

I am really not mad about losing the parts. To date I have made over six times what I paid for the car in parts. It is the fact that someone would come to my shop in the middle of the night and steal from me that pisses me off. The good news is that my shop is fully insured and it might be worth looking into that aspect.
I guess it is mainly my fault. I left the pen unlocked and showed the car to a lot of different people for parts.
Also, I have met a lot of new customers and people who are die hard Mercedes lovers from this forum and they are honestly customers I enjoy working on their cars. It was just one bad apple in a bunch of good ones.
What's done is done and I wll be removing the car tomorrow and checking the video tonight for signs of the culpret and or license plate.
I'll let you know if I catch him/her.
Dave

I hope you can get retribution

Back when I had a very small lawn service, I had a problem more than once with people stealing equipment off of the trailer, even when it was locked and I was just around the corner of the building. They would cut the lock and be gone in a flash.

I put a BEWARE OF DOG sign on the trailer and began bringing my Rottweiler. I never had another thing stolen and she bit two bad guys. The first suffered a good bite to the leg and had the bolt cutters on the ground beside him when P.D. showed up. I had the dog do a "Bark and Hold" drill on the guy for the full time we waited for P.D. It was great!

The second guy reached into the back of my truck while the dog was chained in there. He claimed he was trying to pet the dog. I told him that as soon as he reached in, he was feeding the dog. She tore his hand up pretty well.

In both cases Animal Control ruled them to be "Provoked" bites. It was nice to get back at the bad guys.

Got Schutzhund????? I do!! It's a beautiful thing.

Why can't you post the picture of the robber from your video surveillance on this forum?
