Family Guy: Yea or Nay?

I love that show.. its great. All of the spoofs they do.. Especially the one they just did. Rember when bush was told of the terrorist attack and kept reading to the kids.. They just did that with the mayor... great stuff

Yea... if my kids aren't in the room... or sometimes even if they are... I may be a bad father but at least they had humor growing up.

Freaking yea! I'm friends with a girl that loves to watch Desperate Housewives, on ABC at the same time as Family Guy. That was one hell of an argument the first Sunday night she came over. Needless to say she's at her house right now with her show and I"m watching Family Guy.

American Dad is pretty good too. I love the lines on the newspaper in the opening theme. My favorite was "Israel pulls out of Gaza. Gaza not pregnant."

My darling wife likes South Park too but I just can't deal with the weird voices.

Hell, it was my kids who introduced me to Peter and the gang.

So, who is your favorite FG character?

My nephew is an IT prof - has a huge screen TV and the most extensive collection of digitized movies, TV, foreign commercials - you name it - I've ever seen. Has most all of the FG. I like one or two, after that, I get burnt out on it. The little kid with the gay British accent doesn't do it for me. I like the Simpsons and King of the Hill better.

I LOVE Family Guy. I had a avatar of the Kool-Aid man bursting through the wall in that one episode screaming "OH YEAH!" for a while. Those movie "clips" are too much, remember the retro Sesame Street spoof when Stewie was in the bubble? I'd forgotten all about that Sesame Street segment until then.
If I had to put my favorite animated series in a list, they'd be as follows...

1. The Simpsons
2. Family Guy
3. The Boondocks
4. King of the Hill
5. South Park/American Dad (tie)
6. Futurama

I'm awaiting that Simpsons movie too, all you Simpsons nerds got your Duff hats, t-shirts with the word "glayvin!" and other Simpsons related clothing ready for movie day?

I like FG, but I don't see what all the hype is about. My friends think it's great, I'll watch it but I won't take a particular interest in when it's on.

Venture Brothers
Futurama
Family Guy

I think I'm all caught up on Venture Brothers and I've seen all the Futurama's, but I'm sure I've missed a lot of Family Guys. Haven't seen a new one in months until last night when Peter found out he's Irish. Funny!
