Nice, but too much motor for that platform.

I got a ride in one of those sedans, it was in the SF Bay Area, a private AMG/Brabus dealer had it, it was truly impressive. I really like those uber E class 124 sedans, the E60, 500E and the Hammer. They really deliver the goods.

Man-O-man! That was cool. Who is the fellow driving the car? I'd like to have his job.

Jeremy Clarkson, one of the hosts of the British car program 'Top Gear'. You'd have to get in a LOOOONG line for his job. :D

Search YouTube.com for top gear and Bugatti Veyron. He races an airplane from Italy to London in a Veyron. Highly entertaining video. ;)

Dee8go 03-15-2007 11:16 AM

I thought that might be who it was. He is very interesting to listen to. I'll look for him elsewhere on youtube. Thanks.

Jeremy Clarkson is one of the best in this business, I love his reviews.

Hatterasguy 03-15-2007 04:41 PM

Yes but its not cooler or more exclusive. Clarkson missed the point of such a car, or at least didn't say it. Said car isn't about speed, its about making a statement of the health of ones checkbook. IE I can afford the best, I have the only one etc.

Such cars will most likely spend their time sitting in a garage when not sitting in the country clubs parking lot. Probably somewhere in the Middle East.
