Anyone work for Sandusky, Michigan?
Hi all,
its a slow friday here and im just wondering if anyone works for the Sandusky-Chicago company, located on W. Barker Ave, Michigan city? Reason is, i work for a small firm over here in Ireland, specialising in industrial abrasives and adhesives. We're an agent for 3M products in this range. I look after the warehousing/logistics end of things, and one of our suppliers is the aforementioned company. Anywho, the real joy in receiving parts (mounted points/stones) from Sandusky, is that the boxes are filled with local newspapers. So as i said, its a slow day here, i shall shortly retire to the warehouse, pretending to be busy with stock, and read all about whats going on in the Lake area.. Guys and gals, if any of you do work for Sandusky, or know someone who does, can you please ask them not to pack the grocery stores junk mail pages, or the business pages. The sports section is fine, motors for sale, funnies and crosswords are most welcome. In the obituary section, when a Stars and Stripes is shown, is that because the deceased served in the Forces, or in a govt. capacity? Cheers, tony

I have a customer in La Porte, Indiana, next door neighbor. I'll call them and have a salesman make the request!

Thanks for the feedback guys, ive just been reading the NWI Times, tho we do recieve different papers from the area.
@ suginami - im aware of the patriotism and respect Americans show their flag and it was probably more pronounced in the after of 9/11. (the flying of flags at peoples houses i mean). The reason why i mentioned the obits was that i have an interest in WW2 (a number of uncles and other relations served in the forces) and when i saw the Stars and Stripes it was usually at the head of the obit for a veteran. I admire those men for their sacrifice, and am saddened whenever i read of their passing
