Millenium auto group in NJ says go to hell?

I'm trying to organize a joint GTG for MBUSA, BenzWorld and Mercedesshop for central jersey USA
Here is the whole, true story.
Well, It appears that Millenium Auto group, (An Official Mercedes Dealer) in Bridgwater NJ will not be participating in the NJ GTG. After leaving 3 e-mails, and 4 phone calls, which he refused to return, I went over there and left a message for the owner that he wouldn't return my calls or e-mails, which he intercepted. THEN The sales manager called me, and told me to Tell Benzworld, Mercedesshop and MBUSA that he dosn't need our business and to take our members and shove them up my ass.
Jeez. all I wanted was some flags and **** for a local event.
Guess he blew it bigtime....
This moron never even heard of MBUSA. or any of us for that matter.
So... On to MBHQ. The search continues.
I left another message for the owner and saved the sales manager's message on my phone which I will play back to the owner and see if the owner makes up for it. If not, I won't be doing any business with them at all.
I also have one up at the General mercedes forum too. but I felt you guys should know personally.
If anyone is a member of MBUSA, post it over there too for me. I think they'd be interested in knowing this.
Thanks

Edit: here is the message, so it's easier to find for those just joining us.

^^^^^Post #28 in "Service Experiences at Dealership", the first "sticky" at the top of this section, provides the BW link to this discussion, with further discussion about this incredible series of events, with member comments also..

Hard to believe a Mercedes sales manager at a authorized dealer would spout obscenities at a customer.

raymr 04-02-2007 06:21 PM

That's just how they talk in Jersey.

Carleton Hughes 04-02-2007 06:26 PM

This is effing ridiculous and absurd. If it were me I would call MBUSA in Jersey and play the message for the edification of upper management to demonstrate this "dealers"concern for Mercedes enthusiasts who comprise a great percentage of their revenue.

I would also,{and since I do not know the legal ramifications I would not "advise" this:D } download the message and convert it into a WAV or similar sound file and post it on ALL Mercedes forums, also detailing the fellow's name, position with the stealership and the rest of your callous treatment, just an idea.

Yep, Millenium sucks. I live in Bridgewater and have gone to them on several occasions for various parts. They don't care about my business and they charge outrages prices for the simplest items. Like $55 for an oil filter!!! Never again will I frequent their store.

Please do let MB USA hear that recording. They are a disgrace to the MB nameplate.

Ah, let it go. You'd think they'd be nicer, but they can do what they want anyway they want to.

Larry Delor 04-02-2007 07:36 PM

At best, they will help sponsor the event with all kinds of goodies. :):)

At worst, just like with their wiring harnesses, they'll deny knowledge of aforementioned dealership. :D

Jim B. 04-02-2007 07:43 PM

If someone put that up on Youtube, they're doomed.

Naaah, I didn't say that.:D

raymr 04-02-2007 08:45 PM

I'll tell all my NJ friends to avoid that place. When my dad lived in central NJ he never found a decent shop to bring the 380SE to. It could almost make you cry how much money he ended up spending to get simple things fixed.

Youtube was created for things like this...
