Well I just figured out why all the small pharmacies went under...
I walk into two different small-town pharmacies looking for a VERY simple thing. A glass dropper (yeah, you know, a small glass tube with a rubber thing on the top to suck liquid out of something and place a single drop where you want it) -- Yeah. That thing.
Ok, well, I got 4 different people that had no idea they made them in glass and said, "Oh, I've only ever seen them in plastic" -- Need I mention that all four of them were in their late 50's or early 60's. Funny, I'm old enough to be their child, and I remember them. Found them on the internet, ordered some hair crap for WTB, and in the end, saved tax and got the hair crap cheaper than they sell it around here. Moral of the story. More and more, as time goes on, the internet is really the answer. With fuel $3.00 a gal. why the heck should I drive and buy something when I can have somebody bring it to me and I can spend that time writing this stupid post. But I think you get my point. (Plus on the net, I was able to be 2 1oz, 2 2oz, and 2 4oz... all for $.35-$.50 each.) God Bless The Internet. Pete |

Amen Pete,,, I have also been able to find about anything I desire on the net. Just bought some grates for my Weber grille that neither Home Depot or Lowes could get. You can ALWAYS find it on the net. I even found a tablecloth for our looooong dining room table,,, just love it. In a lot of ways we live in a wonderful era.

See, all the big box stores like Circuit City and Walmart have hired away all the good help. People want the prestige of working at a large corporation with good benefits. Independents can't compete, and that's why you can't find a person who remembers these glass dropper widgets.
