Anyone know where to get Ferrari electronics?

My friends uncle has a 328 and it blew the ECU. The dealer wants like $3,200. I thought Mercedes was bad! Its this little box! It should be made of gold for that price!

Anyway I know their are a bunch of places that specialize in rebuilding Mercedes electronics, any Ferrari ones?

$3,200 is cheap. That's like a bargain basement "B" service for that car.

Fun car to drive.... Expensive car to own.

Call Europa motors, in Hamden ther Hatti. If they're no good, try F-40 motors. Pretty sure he's in Middletown. Someone at either place will be able to help you with that. Try Europa, first though, he's a good guy, and might even have one laying around or something, as he specializes, in anything Ferrari, and is really good with them. He's on Dixwell Ave.

replace it with one of these http://www.bgsoflex.com/megasquirt.html

Program it to do whatever you want. Some guys in the performance section of this site have experience with these computers.

When the wiring harness melted and messed up the chip on my law partners grey market e320 amg cabriolet, after posting at every mercedes site and trying to cirumvent ordering the parts from amg, he hired a german speaking "jobber" that found the used parts in germany for cents on the dollar. Has to be similar guys in Italy.

Check the link below and have your friend give Lyle a call. I get parts for my 308GTSI from him and I've saved quite a bit of money.

Guy across the road from my 'rents owns a Testarossa. His high school kid drives in CLK cab. Wife has a Bentley. He also has a 930 slantnose, '59 Cad 'vert and a Cobra (not sure if it's fake).

He own a big mortgage co., but on the side is a classic/exotic auto broker and owns a race team, sponsored by his mort group.

Get this, he used to be a professional dancer. Mom said it some ballet company out of Chicago, 20 yrs ago (?) No, he's not gay. Just umm.. different.

When I drop by to see the parents, I make sure to look up the hill and see whats sitting in his driveway.

Yeah some people have pretty cool driveways. One guy down the street has an H1, Superperformace Cobra, 29ft Fountain, and a Z06.

There is another guy that I know who owns a trucking company. You can never tell what he will be driving. Last year it was a Lotus Esprit V8, and a very cool custom chopper, I think Jesse James made. This year I have no idea, changes cars like cloths.
