i just finished "the testament" a grisham book

pretty good read.

any of you lawyers out there read it?

it is a typical grisham novel with some rather unlikely adventure, a host of interesting characters and a surprise ending that i did not see coming.

He's always entertaining. What is it about lawyers writing books? Brad Meltzer's books are pretty good, too.

Good, then I'll pick it up.

I'm currently a big fan of WEB Griffith, Joseph Kellerman, and particularly Michael Connolly.

"The Partner" may have been my favorite Grisham book. It is the title that I remember most often, at least. There were two I never finished, enjoyed all of the rest, great fun. Haven't looked at the last one.

I'd have to go with The Runaway Jury for my favorite, but that one is definitely up there.

Runaway Jury was another of my favorites.

A time to Kill was one I didn't finish. I think the other was also a crime story.

Someone mentioned Scott Turow books here in a previous thread. I got a few and got turned off by the crime. He was a prosecutor. I thought One L, his book about his first year at Harvard Law School was excellent. It is another book that anyone could enjoy
