300e Surprise driving experience.

Just thought I'd relate my impressions from today.....

I got my '92 300e out on the road today after 4 years sitting in my shop.

Previously did the timing chain and head gasket...started right up after filling with new gas.
Drove about 70 miles this afternoon....was very pleased with it's ride, performance and handling.

I had forgotten how addicting driving a tight Merc' is.
I bought this machine for my then wife back in 1999..but nooooo , she wanted a NEW one .......I had serviced it since 1994 and owner offered it to my at a very low price as she was buying a 2000 e320 4Matic wagon.

I wafted through the countryside and cruised the interstate...real nice driving machine.

I drive all sorts of vehicles every week, but this old tank was a little different ..comfortable and handles like a new one.

Reason I got it out was a customer wants to buy it.....now I'm thinking, I wanna keep it !

Should I sell it ?
