dandelions!
i got a new bunny.
so whenever i am out walking around on my property or neighbors, i tend to grab a fistful of dandelion greens and buds, the bunny likes it all. yesterday i was checking out a few that i had plucked right down to the ground a couple of days ago and there were new leaves sprouted pretty profusely with new flowers as well. it is clear we will NEVER eradicate the dandelion. it has just such a trememdous VITALITY! tom w

I have almost none this year, thanks to lawn chemicals. My ferocious Boston Terrier named Filbert has just about eradicated the bunnies and moles and mice and everything else he can get close to in the wooded area behind the house. Unfortunately he also tried to eradicate my little Boston, Dozer, who has puncture wounds and a nasty limp after their altercation. Anyway, I sharpened the blade on the mower and I'm off to beautify my lawn...

Good catch Bot, we started with our first couple of Bostons using names related to cookies, and my wife saw a reference to Flibert Nut Balls and thought it would be fitting, since our Filbert didn't have his balls for long.

Just make sure to light it on fire right after you pour it out, or it will kill the grass!
