I think the steering wheel cover is worth extra points.

For $1800, you'd be better off finding an old Gremlin, and restoring it to show car condition.

(they obviously have some great drugs for sale in Houston)

Survivor!

Classic MERC

To honk the horn on this '82 "Merc" you have to push inwards on the turn indicator stalk, towards the steering column. (Same as on the 1962 Lotus Elite)

Please don't ask how I know this

the cars of the 80's had no styling( except ours)

they look like a frign box or the kind of car your 5 year old draws... a box with wheels and god awful interior and exterior colour combos... gotta love the fake wood trim on some of the wagons that is peeling off now

Back in high school, my buddy's brother had one of those. It was rusty, but the 6 banger motor had over 200k miles-- a real workhorse.

That car is just a reminder of how low Detroit sunk in the 80's.

If its rust free and you can get it for like $500 it would be a good beater.

Well, those were better than some of the crap Detroit cranked out in the '70s!

Happy Motoring, Mark
