Happy bday Paul!!! I bought my wife a case of wine for mother's day and will drink a bottle to your health, continued longevity and refreshing cheerful parenthood today (I initially typed "later" before today, but what the hell).

Happy birthday, Paul. I'm glad to see that someone pointed your birthday out to us all. Oh, wait, that was you. Well, as the Good Book says, "He who tooteth not his own horn, the same shall not be tooted." Happy birthday, buddy. I'll have a drink in your honor. Maybe a couple of 'em.

Being that it's Mother's Day, I had to share the day with my wife.

We loaded the kids in the Mercedes and drove down to Fashion Island, an upscale outdoor shopping mall in Newport Beach, situated on a bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

It was as crowded as can be imagined due to Mother's Day, but it is probaby the prettiest place on earth. A nice 73 degrees, clear blue skies, and you could look out and see the sailboats on Pacific Ocean as far as the eye can see.

39,,,, cripes Paul,,,, you could be my kid. Many happy returns though, but beware of the big 40. The old blues and angziety [sp] attacks hit me for the first time in my life. Took about a year to get around that roadblock. :bigcry:

Yep, this is my first and only 39th.

When I turned thirty I told my wife that I would only have a birthday party every decade, so on that thirtieth we had a big shin dig at the condo.

I am already telling my friends and family to get ready for the big fortieth birthday party at the house. :)

I'll never wash my left cheek. :P
