You think we are in trouble now...

Read and weep.

What a cheery start, kip. And before I finished my coffee.

The more they suck out of our wallets, the more they spend. As sure as the sun rises every morning.

Reading numbers like these is like having someone trying to explain what is on the other side of the universe.

The quotation from Reagan is exactly what I would have expected from a 'head in the sand' guy like him. He just never understood that most of the people in America weren't millionaires.

Its simple actualy this whats going to happen:

Social Security and Medicare will be cut.

Either the government will just say sorry we can't pay, or the system will collapse. You can't argue with the numbers, its not a queston of if its a queston of when. But unlike asking when the world will run out of oil, this big when has a pretty good date on it. When will most of the baby boomers start needing needing to draw on these programs? Well lets see 1945+65= 2010. So between 2010-2015.

The problem is no one wants to address the real issue, because the AARP and the other party will demonize them. Wanting to starve old ladies to death and stuff like that. Social Security and Medicare are the third rail of politics.

They don't they are in a downward spiral. You work the governments take most of the money you earn and they support you with a crappy medical system.
