what die grinder bit to remove bolt?

One of the upper control arm bolts in the SD has a rounded head. An 8mm hex bit just spins. JB Weld didn't hold the bit in the bolt. The head is recessed in a pocket so I can't get a good grip on it with other tools. Since it's a through bolt, I'm thinking of grinding off the head and turning the shank through from the other side.

What kind of griding bit should I use? There's no room to use a wheel.

Will this work or will it take forever? How about for cutting slots into the bolt head so I can try backing it out with a big screwdriver?

Thanks,
