Check Windows live and Yahoo beta maps. Microsoft has a good accurate photos, which is good enough to see my pond fountain.......but I have to pay for it.

In 2005 one agency posted about 25 TB of unclassified imagery on an FTP site, but it wasn't publicly available because of copyright restrictions from the originating sources. This year some agencies working toward using GoogleEarth as a way to post some of the contracted hurricane impact photos for the Gulf. I have found that GoogleEarth slows to a drag when burdened with 3rd party imagery. Hopefully the eggheads have come up with an improvement on that.
