Greedy Yuppies of the '80s

David Mamet's "Glengarry Glenn Ross" without doubt, is one
of his best plays, and Baldwin's speech is a good one. Fun to hear.

Neve heard of the Boilermaker, but it probably is a good movie too.

Another good little speech is Michael Douglas' "GREED IS GOOD" speech he did in the movie "Wall Street"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_icgdMQ4MdQ

That speech, and the movie, were an anthem of the go-go Greedy Yuppies of the 1980's. The movie, ironically, came out in '87, year of the Black October stock crash.

Telling truth to young Charlie Sheen, in the limo:

Lot of people bought brand new 560SEL Mercedes, BMWs and Jags back then, it was almost a cliche.

You can catch "Boiler Room" on cable from time to time. Okay flick, but can't compare to "Glenngary..."

5/28/2007 12:24 PM ID: 62713 Real Estate Agent Fired Over Big Breasts

Germany: 29-year-old Annina Ulrich has been fired by a real estate agency over her 42 H breasts. Her boss reportedly told her that the surgically enhanced boobs were hurting the public image of the company.
"Since childhood I dreamt of big breasts. I have become addicted to breast surgery... My clients too think it's great. I can't understand why my boss doesn't think I am an asset to the company," said Ulrich.
The matter came to a head after Ulrich traveled to Italy to do a photo shoot with the goal of becoming a model for erotic magazines. Ulrich says she will start her own real estate agency with her breasts on the business cards.
