Ban Kurt Busch for life ?

Watched the video of Busch running into Tony Stewarts' car on purpose on pit lane. There happened to be a pit crew member working on the right front of Stewarts car at the time. He looked up just in time to see Busch coming at him and jumped on the hood of Stewarts car to avoid being hit. I am not a Busch hater but firmly believe he should be banned from ever driving in a professional race again. Will be interesting to see if NASCAR agrees.

i would like to see the video of that.

but if as you described a very strong punishment is in order. endangering pit crew members, who have a very dangerous job in the best of times, is about unforgivable.

i have been a kurt busch fan in the past.

that may change.

Shouldn't the law by interested in this? Attempted murder? Aggravated assault? It's a race, not a deathmatch.

I just watched the video. More of a sideswipe than a rear end (which is what I was thinking happened). The pit crew worker should be allowed to kick Bush's rear end for nearly hitting him.

tony stewart has been known to do this... If I was kurt Busch I would have pulled a Dick Trickle ( that one scene from days of thunder when cruise is like... fuel me up and fresh tires.. even though the race is over and then goes and rams the winner)

After seeing the video of it, BFD. Given the reports of it I would have said definitely a suspension but after seeing the actual video he didn't even hit Stewart's car. The crew member was watching Busch come up pit lane and saw him coming.

Tony is the worst offender and biggest whiner when it comes to bumping on the track. Hell, he was starting $h!t with the Whelen Modified drivers last year up in Loudon last year because the had the audacity to bump him.

I'm a fan of neither, I'm a Biffle fan (who hasn't driven well in over a year. ).

Tony and Kurt were going at it for about 16 laps until Kurt got by him,,, almost,,, and Tony turned him around. Nascar.com had a great picture from in front of the cars that clearly showed Kurts' car into the side of Tonys' and the crew man up on the hood of Tonys' car.

I edited my post.... I meant to say that the pit crew worker should be allowed to kick Bush's butt for nearly hitting him.
