Shop-Vac um, my dogs did not like it at first but now they wait in line for the hair suckin.

Sounds like YouTube material to me!

I laughed aloud at your post. I chuckled in the same way I laugh at my dad running out back to yell at the dogs when they bark, then talking to them about it. Dad's retired military -- 28+ years of active duty. So many mundane "civilian" things are just plain ol' funny in that context.

Man, I remember that well. As kids, we had a large dog, the breed was a chuvatch. Picture a 150 lb dog that looks kinda like a St.Bernard only taller and leaner and is pure white. He shedded like mad in the Spring! Could fill a couple of garbage bags with his fur. You'd keep brushing and it would keep on coming...though I swore he'd breather easier after shedding all that fur.

I miss him, he was a true gentle giant.
