Father's Day Wish List Thread.....

O.K. guys that big day is coming upon us rapidly where we bow down (I said down not over) oh so far and pay homage to the ones who helped secure our place in the universe and without whom we may just have remained a meer twinkle in our daddy's eye- i give you the FATHER'S DAY WISH LIST THREAD. This is a three parter- First- What you'd like for father's day, Second- What the most important thing is that you learned from your dad and Third- what are the most important things you have taught your children. Have fun with this.

1. I'd like the love and adoration of my children.

2. My dad taught me self-reliance, and to save as much as I can. He also said don't borrow money from anybody if you can help it. That's worked out well for me so far. I've done better than I ever dreamed I would.

3. I tried to teach my kids to try anything and everything they have an interest in as young as possible. Whatever sticks, persue that thing with everything they've got. It seems to be working out well for them so far. I also tried to pass along the lessons I learned from my dad.

Materially, I yearn for nothing...except for the means to keep whatever I currently have from disrepair...

...my daughter's birthday typically lands around Father's Day, so every year, it pretty much eclipses any possible celebration that might culminate...

...which I guess is a strong reminder that I am indeed, a Dad!
