Wiring question for fridge
I have a mini fridge that has a 2 foot cord on it and I would like to put a 4ft cord on it. I opened it up and the cord is held in by 3 screws (white, black & green). If I buy a 4ft cord with plug on it already, the same guage and hard wire it like the factory are there any risks or dangers? I jst do not want to use an extention cord.

You have our permission, CJ. Knock yourself out.
Of course, the question on everyone's mind now is, "What beverages will you be storing in that minifridge?"

Done exactly what you have done in several applications...including 220V!
You should be fine if you follow the guidelines you've stated...
