Liar Liar with Jim Carey. He drive a very nice SL500.

And The transporter had a few W124's and a few W140's.

Mercedes in the Movies

There seem to be a few movies missing from their list:

Driver with Ryan O'neal

One, Two, Three with James Cagney

Ronin with Robert De Niro

North by Northwest with Cary Grant

Primal Fear with Richard Gere and Laura Linney

On her Majesty's Secret Service with Telly Savalas

Race Against Time (Canadian flick)

Vaya con Dios (German flick--go figure with that title)

The Long Good Friday (English flick)

That is all I could think for now.

Actually, I think these are listed too, just not on the first page. The Mercedes Movie website is really good.

In any event, it is good to see our beloved cars in the movies. There is a traveling exhibit called MERCEDS IN THE MOVIES. I think, however, it is only traveling through Europe. It should be required to make at least one stop in Hollywood!

The modern day Starsky and Hutch had one in the end. With Vince Vaughn baha-ing one through a golf course trying to escape the cops.

I understand the three points of the Mercedes star mean land, sea, and air. But there's a fourth: rail, from a James Bond movie. The land, sea, and air in the Mercedes scene were already shown

I also remember seeing some Peugeot 504's in a James Bond movie, with one ending up getting stuck in a tree, I recognized it from the bottom

Are these referring to Octopussy with the train? Is the second one For Your Eyes only with the Citroen CV/2 mountain chase?

Yes, and yes.

Land, sea, air and rail, not in that order. Four points would have made a square, maybe they could have used a peace sign

While watching Rocky IV last night, I noticed that the Mercedes, during the supposed Russia scenes, were just plain old North American models, and not Euro Models....

U.S. bumpers, No rear head rests, U.S. lighting..Etc, Etc.

Just thought I'd point that out
