Bulletin Board Questionaire

After looking at the "World's Longest Thread" thread, I began to wonder how many other boards you guys are participating in. So, I have a few questions for anybody who'd care to comment:

1. How many bulletin boards do you actively participate in?

2. Which one do you post on the most?

3. How much time do you spend a day doing this?

I participate in three or four, but Mercedesshop is where I spend 98% of my bulletin board time. I probably spend an hour or two a day on this.

1. Actively, 4-this one, a Trisomy 21 (Down syndrome) forum, a N.E Patriots fan forum and a Jeep forum. Passively-alternative fuel/biodiesel, political, Schuman's Automotive, and an International Light Truck one.

2. Lately I've been spending most of my time here, but usually it's the T21 one first. During football season it's definitely the Patriots one for the most time invested.

3. While it may often appear that I'm logged on for several hours at a time, I'm only actively doing so when I'm sitting at my desk. Since we've got a broadband connection, I connect when I come in in the morning and log-off when I leave because many times I need to pull up MSDS's or specimen labels for customers and we access them off the 'net or if I need to check inventory levels with suppliers. Even when I come "here", often I'm on the phone or dealing with walk-in customers between posting. It depends more on whether it's one of our busy periods or not.

1. This site - always online, but not always logged on.

2. Lawnsite.com - when done with car detailing and in the mood for lawn detailing...learned how to get that neat "checkerboard" look!

3. Turfmonster.com - soccer parents rant about everything related to their kids soccer...you'd think is was the pros the way some topics are discussed!
