I bought a copy, sent a coupla copies to some friends. :D

We had " Fun for Boys " which was very similar. It also included a section on combat Ju Jitsu! :)

Today's Fun for Boys is an innocuous diatribe on dinosauers, etc. I know why they call them the " Great Generation". And we're yuppie, or X or whatever.

Awesome book! I had a Boy Scout manual as a kid that I loved, very similar. All kinds of cool stuff - slignshots, making a fire in the wilderness, making shelters, etc.

Going to get a copy...;)

What a great book! I ordered one for my 10yo. He's in dire need of some outdoor experience.

The feminization of America.

I got a copy of the US Army Survival Manual. It's pretty interesting. I read it in dribs and drabs.

I remember the old Boy Scout Handbook I had as a kid. I loved the Eric Sloane illustrations in it.
