You mean "Death Race 2000", not 3000.

It sure is an ugly car either way though.
If you can't drive it, and it looks like $#it, than I suppose it's a good parts car, if you are looking for some G.M. parts, for another project.

"No call just to ask how I did this or that."
Actually my call would have been to ask "WHY I did this or that."

I give him 60 points for ingenuity. I wonder why he radiused the wheel openings so amateurishly (looks like they were cut out with tin snips) and made the side profiles look like they were just tacked over the existing sides.

That's exactly what I was thinking. I'd be embarrassed to have that in my driveway; I wouldn't take it for free (unless it came with a big tarp).

It is all metal body, only fiberglass is rear hood.
Because you could not, and would not, duplicate this gorgeous coachwork in plastic.

I bet it hauls @$$ though. Which is good because then there's less of a chance that someone would see you driving it. That's about the best thing I could come up with.

A perfect example of what can happen when you don't have a good friend to slow you down before you make such a mistake.....

I suppose if I saw it from the rear while it was parked, I would approach the driver and hand him some money for a fudgesicle and a snow cone!

Wouldn't it be sad to have spent all that time and effort on something only to have THAT to show for it?

It kindof reminds me of what happens when folks just add onto their houses without the benefit of an Architect....

In our family when we see a terrible addition we all say in unison.....

'WE DON'T NEED NO STINKING ARCHITECT!"

Yes, like the "Leaning tower"...It will last forever, but will always be a mistake to have built, no matter how much time goes by, and it will NEVER gain anymore than a bit of sentimental value..If even that..
