Yep, the 500E came to mind. Prices are near rock bottom for those cars. I wouldn't feel guilty driving one in the winter because they'll never be valuable, at least in my lifetime.

That S600 isn't well suited for that sort of work, so I wouldn't have much of a chance to let her run.

My plan is to dump the 600 and buy something smaller, more nimble and cheaper. Age doesn't matter... My thought was as an SLC, 190-16v (one for sale near me right now), 124 coupe, POS's 280E AMG looks interesting. It could even be a 2 seater with some space for dogs.

Tossing around the idea right now...

I'll have ONE HELLUVA time selling that 600. May end up at the dealer.

Ideas?
Vespa.

And it's not gay.

Not gay, but cosmopolitan.

Depends on your idea of valuable. That was a really pretentious statement, seriously.

Pretense is the glue that holds this website together. You really don't think that we all own/drive Mercedes-Benz automobiles do you? For example, the Swede is really a 15 year-old high school student from Madison, Wisconsin who doesn't even hold a driver's license (oops, "licence", sorry) let alone own an automobile. I'm the only person on this website who is for real.

I knew that would get someone's goat. I'm not dissing the car, sheesh they're wonderful machines.

My S600 probably depreciated $100/day, talk about a boat anchor. Oh well, it's fun.
