I had that on my little sisters computer.... I removed it from the registry, and it solved my problem.

I have never run into that before. Have you run ad-aware?
BTW, has your external drive been behaving? |
Does it infect Macintosh? What is a registry?

I like to use hijackthis every now and then. Lists registry entries that did not originally come with XP. Lets you remove them, and if need be, put them back. They have a new version out, but I haven't played with it yet.

START/RUN/regedit/ENTER
You can look around easy enough but don't change anything. It's a good idea to do a backup in case it gets fouled up. Especially if System Restore doesn't do the job. Use the File menu and select EXPORT. This is best done before any spyware or adware is on your machine. You need to redo the backup every time you add or remove programs. Danny |
I dont remember the exact registry key.
I found it by searching for the filename. |
