My first impression..hoax.
I'm scrathcing my head over the banging on on the walls and screaming in the middle of the night. Ever heard of surveillance cameras or light sensors? Why would they harass their own families? Attention maybe. Or a little unbalanced perhaps?

i can tell you that this is possible. my cousin did sumthin kinda like that with his gfs cell phone. she was talking to her x alot and somehow he set up another phone to work just like hers and was texting with the guy. BTW i have nothing to do with him so dont get after me

Cloned phones are easy to make. There are "tools" out there that are used to snatch your phones ID right out of the air.
They can locate most cloned phones fairly quickly once their existense is known.

They said they replaced the phones, did they ever replace the SIM card? Or get different service? I'm betting on cloned SIM card, not that hard with a USB SIM reader and a laptop, some one could have probably done it at school in a few minutes without her even noticing the phone was gone... Too bad she isn't at my school, girls hot, I'd try to help out...
